How much does a storage unit cost?
Online prices start at $29 a month for a storage unit and $29 a month for RV and boat parking, depending on the location and size. Where a regular rate is shown, the online price is a move-in special for your first 3 months. Each location page lists every size with today’s price.
How do I rent a storage unit?
Pick a location and unit size, then rent online from your phone or computer. You choose your move-in date, complete the renter’s form and e-sign your lease. Your first month’s rent (prorated), a one-time admin fee and a refundable security deposit (amounts vary by location) are due at signing, and you’ll upload a photo ID. Checkout shows every amount before you pay.
Your gate access code arrives by email, so you can move in the same day, 7 days a week.
What size storage unit do I need?
A 5’x5′ is about the size of a hall closet. A 5’x10′ fits a studio or one-bedroom apartment, a 10’x10′ fits a two-bedroom apartment, and a 10’x20′ is about a one-car garage. Most units are about 8 feet tall. Our size guide has more detail.
Do I need insurance for my storage unit?
Yes. The lease requires coverage for your belongings. Add tenant protection at checkout, from $12 a month, or use your own homeowner’s or renter’s policy.
When is rent due, and are there admin fees?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month, whatever your move-in date. There is a one-time admin fee and a refundable security deposit at move-in. Both amounts vary by location, and checkout shows the exact amounts for your unit before you pay.
Do you have drive-up storage units?
Yes. Our Texas locations have drive-up units, so you can load and unload right outside your unit.
What are your hours?
Gates are open 5 AM to 11 PM every day. There’s no office on site: call or text Mon–Fri 8 AM–8 PM, Sat–Sun 9 AM–5 PM at (800) 417-0283 or your location’s number, and rent online any time.
How do I move out?
Email us at least 14 days before your move-out date. Leave the unit empty, swept clean and unlocked by midnight on that date to get your security deposit back.
